A site development including an eight-storey mixed-use block, with offices on the upper floors and retail and assembly uses on the ground floor, with a basement car parking facility. Additionally, adjacent to the mixed-use block, a seven-storey hotel.

Innovation Fire Engineering provided our client with solutions to a range of fire safety issues, including the application of Isle of Man–specific requirements, provision of fire-fighting shafts, ventilation of the basement car park, considerations for links to adjacent buildings, extended travel distances, protection of external escape routes, and provision of alternative adequate vertical means of escape in the mixed-use block.

Our services included a site familiarisation visit, an Outline Fire Strategy for each block, a Detailed Fire Strategy for each block, CFD Corridor Smoke Modelling, and ongoing support.
