A full refurbishment and redesign of a shopping centre and car park on a prominent and significantly sloping site on the riverside in Durham City Centre, to provide refurbished retail and leisure space, four new blocks of PBSA above the existing retail and car park, and a new hotel.

Innovation Fire Engineering provided our client with solutions to a range of fire safety issues, including necessary provisions for a relevant building, fire suppression considerations, means of escape issues from different occupancies and purpose groups, providing ventilation specifications, and fire service access and facilities.
