A Grade II listed old school building being redeveloped to provide residential flats across three floors, retaining necessary heritage items including a central theatre in the round, repurposed as a common room.

Innovation Fire Engineering provided our client with solutions to a range of fire safety issues, including corridor ventilation requirements accounting for restrictions imposed by the listed status, adequate separation for the retained theatre in the round area, extended travel distances, adequate protection of the means of escape, and access and facilities for the fire and rescue service. Additionally, Innovation Fire Engineering also provided an annexed phased construction plan to provide advice during the two phases of construction.
