An existing six storey student accommodation building which was being refurbished to improve the existing fire safety provision. As part of the refurbishment works, the under-croft car park was replaced with ancillary student areas.

Innovation Fire Engineering helped bring the existing design up to standard with the current guidance documents by providing solutions consisting of enhanced detection, smoke control provisions, as well as specific additional compartmentation within the building.
