Our highly skilled Fire Engineers 'think outside the box' and devise the most innovative, cost effective solutions to address the specific fire risks in a building. The team's drive for innovation enables benefits such as, increased usable space.

We use computational modelling to quantify risk, such as external fire spread and address issues with travel distances. Our integrity and responsible approach enables a design to meet fire safety standards, whilst also maintaining the architectural integrity.

We listen to our clients and work collaboratively with the design team to ensure a clear understanding of design aspirations. Each project is overseen by a dedicated qualified Fire Engineer to ensure continuity of service. The majority of our business is from repeat clients, as we are committed to delivering our values:

CFD Fire Engineer

A self confessed boffin, Robert specialises in CFD modelling and is highly proficient in simulation software, including FDS.  His experience with CFD includes creating virtual models to assess 'worst case fire scenarios' for projects ranging from office refurbishments to specialist schools, mental health units and hotels.

Robert uses his analytical skills to assess key data obtained from the CFD models to identify issues such as, external fire spread and tenability of escape routes and radiation modelling. In addition to CFD modelling, Robert assists with sprinkler risk assessments and undertakes a cost-benefit analysis for clients.

Robert’s final year project at University comprised of him using multiple computational simulation software for modelling structural stress factors, PID control, aerodynamics and CAD design to produced a fully working design of a Hexacopter. This ignited his passion for computational simulation!
