The refurbishment and reconfiguration of an existing three storey further education facility. Part of the refurbishment included the sealing of an open learning space at roof level to create additional teaching spaces and an internal three level atrium space.

Innovation Fire Engineering provided our client with solutions to a range of fire safety issues including the challenges of means of escape and facilities for the fire service. This included extended travel distances, open learning spaces overlooking an atrium, and providing solutions to improve fire-fighting facilities within the existing building.
