We are very proud of our Associate, Helen Booth, and her incredible effort making visors for the NHS during the coronavirus pandemic! This amazing initiative led by Carr Manor Community School in Leeds has produced more than 65,000 visors in just a few weeks. The visors are already being used at St James’s Hospital.
Councillor Jonathan Pryor from Leeds City Council visited the school to meet some of the volunteers. He said, “Seeing first-hand the community spirit and dedication these volunteers are showing is genuinely inspiring and a wonderful example of how the city as a whole has pulled together to support our incredible NHS staff, health workers and each other.”
