Innovation Fire Engineering became involved at the very late stages of the Corby Cube project. We produced a fire strategy report using CFD modelling to quantify and compare the time to evacuate the theatre with the time for untenability conditions to occur.

We were able to demonstrate to Building Control and the Fire Authority through developing a fire engineering approach, that the current smoke control system within the theatre protected members of the public from the effects of a fire on stage.

Our involvement and quick delivery of the fire strategy report allowed the fire safety design within the theatre to be approved within the tight projects deadline.
