The Theatre, Corby Cube

Innovation Fire Engineering became involved at the very late stages of the Corby Cube project. We produced a fire strategy report, using CFD modelling, to quantify the time required to evacuate the theatre with the time it takes for untenable conditions to occur.

By developing a fire engineering solution, we were able to demonstrate to Building Control and the Fire Authority that the current smoke control system within the theatre would protect members of the public from the effects of a fire on stage.

Our involvement and speedy delivery of the fire strategy report allowed the fire safety design within the theatre to be approved, within the tight project deadline.
